Lab Coat Program
All New Lab Coats on 4/22!
On Tuesday 4/22, SH&S will be replacing all of the old lab coats on the racks in the rooms listed
below with new rental-style coats. These coats will only have the CSUSM logo and no
nametags so that any employee can use any coat that fits them instead of just their
three 'assigned' coats.
What do I need to do?
Please try to return your old coats to the racks before 4/22. However, we encourage you to keep ONE of your old coats with your name on it for photos or other events.
If you need to use one of your old coats on 4/22 and don't want to dirty the one you've selected to keep, that is okay. You can still deposit it in a hamper afterwards like normal or contact SH&S to come pick it up from you directly on or after 4/22.
What if there isn't a new coat available in my size?
Please call SH&S at 760-750-4502 and we will immediately provide you an old coat to use temporarily.
Even if you have another coat you can use, please still notify us. UniFirst will be tracking the usage of each size each week and automatically adjust the quantities to match the supply to the demand.

SH&S coordinates the ordering, distribution, and laundering of lab coats for staff and faculty on campus. If you cannot find a lab coat in your size at one of the locations listed below, please contact SH&S at x4502 or shs@csusm.edu.
Lab coats are picked up for laundry by UniFirst every Tuesday and returned the following week. The locations of hampers and coat racks they visit are listed below.
NOTICE
Please empty all pockets before depositing a coat for laundry, and do not deposit any coat without a UniFirst barcode on the collar!
