Sexual Violence Advocacy & Education Brochure
The Sexual Violence Advocacy & Education staff are committed to ending all forms of violence and continuing to work towards dismantling systems of oppression within our community. We are dedicated to ending the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW) and girls.
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Luiseño/±Ê²¹²âó³¾°ì²¹·É¾±³¦³ó³Ü³¾ people. Today, the meeting place of CSUSM and its surrounding areas is still home to the six federally recognized bands of the LaJolla, Pala, Pauma, Pechanga, Rincon, Soboba, Luiseño/±Ê²¹²âó³¾°ì²¹·É¾±³¦³ó³Ü³¾ people.
It is also important to acknowledge that this land remains the shared space among the Kuupangaxwichem/°ä³Ü±è±ðñ´Ç²¹²Ô»å Kumeyaay and Ipai peoples. Please visit The California Indian Culture and Sovereignty Center to learn more.
For more information and to schedule an appointment, please contact the advocate below. They are located in the Student Health and Counseling Services Building adjacent to the parking structure and across from the University Student Union.
