NCHAE Grant Opportunity

Are you collaborating with colleagues in a way that uplifts students in our region? Tired of having great ideas and no way to fund them or launch at scale? We have the solution for you! Let NECHA charge up ⚡️ your events and initiatives, but who are we? 

NCHEA is the North County Higher Education Alliance, which includes Palomar, MiraCosta, and Cal State San Marcos. The original charter for NCHEA from 1991 stated, “The members of the alliance believe that collaboration will improve the service they are able to offer their students and the North San Diego County community by permitting the members institutions acting together to accomplish what individual members cannot accomplish alone.”&Բ;

Collaborations Grants

We are pleased to announce the call for proposals is opened. NCHEA offers grants up to $4,000 to support an event/activity that is planned collaboratively by all three colleges and benefits the employees/students of all three colleges.  The next due date is November 1st, here is the . 

NCHEA is eager to support any great ideas for events that set up our students for success and transfer! Please apply! We have supported many innovative events thought the years that enhanced the work all three campuses are already doing. Any full-time or part-time classroom and non-classroom faculty, directors, classified staff, and administrators whose proposal(s) indicate substantial collaboration and participation from colleagues at each of the three NCHEA member institutions may apply for a NCHEA grant. Students may also be included as participants.  

But wait, what if I don't know anyone or understand the process?? Do not fret, please attend our   on 10/01/24 from 4-5:30pm in zoom for all tips and insights on how to write the best application! 

What if I cannot attend the writing grant workshop? Again, do not fret, your NCHEA reps can help you find partners and/or navigate the grant details. We are here to help and support your projects, do not hesitate to reach out to your PD team! Do not hesitate to ask any other questions or concerns.
