Transfer Path to CSUSM

Recently admitted transfer students should follow this ideal path for a smooth transition to CSUSM, from admission to your first semester. 

 

Transfer Success Track

Join the Transfer Success Track in your first semester at CSUSM. Attend five events by the end of your first semester, and receive a certificate and a special medallion to wear for graduation!

Transfer  Community

Transfer students are added to a Microsoft Teams Group where they can connect with one another!

Tau Sigma is a national academic honor society for transfer students who achieve 3.5 or higher GPA at the end of their first term at CSUSM. For more information on how to join, contact the Tau Sigma officers at tausigmacsusm@gmail.com.

Transfer Reception

Our annual Transfer Student Reception takes place on the first day of classes each fall and spring semester. This event is an opportunity to connect with fellow transfer students as well as CSUSM faculty and staff. Attend the Transfer Student Reception for Fall 2025 on August 25th, 12-12:50pm.
