The English program is fantastic, and the students learn a lot through these valuable experiences.
Thank you for providing such a great opportunity for our students.
I will strongly recommend this program to my colleagues and students at the university.~ Mika Osaki, Faculty of Humanities, Department of International English, Hiroshima Jogakuin University“Thank you for 5 weeks! My study abroad was wonderful. I was able to improve my English skills, learn important things, make new friends, and grow up strongly! Also, I think I could change my way of thinking.â€---Student Participant
“I really love this program and I finally have opportunities to speak English in and out of class, learn in an American school and improve my English. I love all the teachers I met, you are all so friendly, I will never forget you!â€---Student Participant
Last month, I had the privilege of accompanying a group of students from our school in Japan to participate in the short-term study program at California State University San Marcos. From the very beginning, the staff at CSUSM created a welcoming and supportive environment that allowed our students to grow both academically and personally. The program offered a perfect balance of English language instruction, cultural immersion, and hands-on activities that kept the students engaged and excited to learn. Whether they were attending classes, participating in interactive workshops, or visiting local landmarks, our students were constantly encouraged to use English in real-life situations, which greatly improved their confidence and communication skills. One of the highlights was seeing how quickly our students built connections—not only with their teachers and host families, but also with student ambassadors and foreign exchange students. The experience broadened their worldviews and gave them a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity. CSUSM’s dedication to international education and student-centered learning helped to make this program a transformative experience for our students. We are deeply grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and care shown to us throughout our stay, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership in the future.
